Before his retirement, Warren Holleman served as Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Warren is a three-time Houston Moth Story Slam winner. His stories have been featured on NPR's Moth Radio Hour, the Moth Main Stage, and PBS' Stories from the Stage. Warren is co-editor of the e-magazine "pulse-voices from the heart of medicine" and, for many years, he co-hosted "So What's Your Story?" on 90.1 KPFT Houston. Warren's stories have been published in numerous books and magazines, including the NYT best-selling book, "A Point of Beauty: True Stories of Holding On and Letting Go." Warren enjoys telling personal stories as well as family stories from his rural roots in North Carolina and Texas. He also enjoys using these stories to animate his lectures, keynotes, and workshops on storytelling, work-life balance, and spiritual dimensions of work and life.
