From Vasalisa to La Llorona, Tiger to Turtle, Ko Ai to Sinukuan, or Ali Baba to Jack, world folktales, fairy tales, and legends come alive in the graceful hands and enchanting voice of storyteller Mary Grace Ketner.

"I wish you could hear the comments that keep buzzing around here. 'Mary Grace is a born storyteller.'"
Kathryn Robinson, College Station, TX

With teaching experience in Language Arts, English, Spanish, and Special Education and work as an educational specialist in a museum of culture and history, Mary Grace understands the use of artistry in advancing a community of learners. Her interactive story programs specifically address the scope and sequence of each grade's Social Studies curriculum as well as the TEKS for language arts.

"I cannot believe that you told six sessions of stories and never repeated a single one! Mrs. Turner and I who were able to hear them all were truly blessed."
Karen Hodge, Kyle TX

Mary Grace is on the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Artist Roster. She is the author of Ganzy Remembers (Atheneum, 1991), and a member of the San Antonio Arts in Education Task Force, San Antonio Storytelling Association, NSN, and a member and board member of TSA.

"Mary Grace's pace, her expressions, her gestures, her voice, her choice of story were all perfect...spiritual... Graceful, you might say."
